Payload Delivery: The payload delivery feature enables the
merchant to provide a product in a digital format directly to the
customer upon the checkout process completion. For this example we
have a magazine called "Getting Started in Radio Control Cars". The
Payload Delivery feature can be utilized for various applications.
This feature is useful to merchants who wish to offer
multimedia files such as software, images, music files, etc. To test this
feature, add this product to your shopping cart & complete the
checkout. At the top of the receipt page you will see a link
(Download File) allowing you to download your purchased file. This feature can be enabled/disabled through
the SalesCart interface.
Number of items discount: This feature allows the merchant
to discount an item by either an absolute amount or by a
percentage, depending upon the quantity of items purchased. For the example
above, we have configured the product to give an absolute discount of $10 for
a quantity of three and an absolute discount of $15 for any quantity of four or greater. |
